Colour cluster analysis for pigment identification [PDF]
This paper presents image processing algorithms designed to analyse the colour CIE Lab histogram of high resolution images of paintings. Three algorithms are illustrated which attempt to identify colour clusters, cluster shapes due to shading and finally to identify pigments.

Automatic pigment identification from hyperspectral data
Art objects conservation or historical analysis necessitates a thorough knowledge of materials used by the artist and their subsequent changes. In the case of paintings this requires the ability to correctly identify the pigments that were used for ...

Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.
