What do women want? Freud's famous question, for which he confessed he had no answer, is scarcely a mystery for many women today in the liberation movement. What women want, they say, is at the very least complete control over their own bodies, that is, their own reproductive behavior, thus ending involuntary pregnancy and compulsory motherhood.
