This review provides an updated list, morphological characterization, and an artificial dichotomous key for identifying Pimelodidae fish species of Bolivia. 346 specimens deposited in the UMSS–Museo d’Orbigny Ichthyological Collection (Cochabamba, Bolivia) were examined. The morphological characterization was based on 41 measurements.

New Species of Myoglanis (Siluriformes, Pimelodidae) from the Río Amazonas, Peru

distinctive features including a large number of anal fin rays and a Weberian complex with the posterior transverse process of the fourth vertebra slender, elongate, and V-shaped. The new species is described from Mishana, Rio Nanay, a small tributary of the Rio Amazonas in Peru.
