The particle with high surface hydrophilicity exhibits strong thermophoretic attraction, as its dense hydration layer enhances the role of interfacial water molecules in determining thermophoretic mobility over other ionic effects. This finding elucidates the mechanism underlying the robust thermophoretic accumulation of Escherichia coli in high ...

Fuel‐free Cu2O‐based micromotors functionalized with β‐cyclodextrin actively remove bisphenol A from water under visible light. The cyclodextrin shell captures BPA and enhances micromotor motility, leading to faster degradation and higher overall removal than nonfunctionalized Cu2O and Cu2O@Au.

Improved PiN Diode Circuit Model with Automatic Parameter Extraction Technique [PDF]
An improved version of a recently proposed PIN diode circuit model is proposed. The most appealing feature of this model is the easy parameter extraction procedure, that requires neither an in-depth knowledge of device manufacturing, nor particularly ...

Electrostatics of the nanowire radial p-i-n diode
In this paper, the electrostatic theory of the nanowire radial core-shell p-i-n homojunction has been considered. The carried out calculations show that, in contrast to planar p-i-n diode, the built-in electric field of the nanowire radial p-i-n diode ...

Ferroelectric Devices for In‐Memory and In‐Sensor Computing
Inspired by biological systems, in‐memory and in‐sensor computing overcome von Neumann bottlenecks. Ferroelectric devices can mimic synaptic functions and sense stimuli like light or force, therefore are ideal for these paradigms. This review introduces the ferroelectric devices applied for in‐memory and in‐sensor computing, covering their structures ...
