Biomimetic Vascular Scaffold with Seamless Electrospun Aligned Nanofiber Conduit and 3D‐Printed Coil Reinforcement

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
We introduce a new fabrication method that overcomes the current limitation of tubular gap electrospinning. We successfully fabricated a seamless hollow tube with fibers aligned along the longitudinal axis in diameters as small as 300 µm, and then reinforced it using 4‐axis 3D printing.

Multifunctional Thiolated Hyaluronic Acid‐graft‐PEDOT Dressing With Antifouling, On‐Demand Drug Delivery and Electrical Stimulation for Wound Healing

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
A multifunctional P(EDOT‐co‐EDOT‐g‐THA) dressing acts as a dynamic biointerface integrating antifouling capability, on‐demand drug delivery, and electrical stimulation. It achieves electrochemically triggered thiolated hyaluronic acid (THA) release while modulating cellular responses for wound healing application.

A simple device for the measurement of kerma based on commercial PIN photo diodes

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2012
The development of a dose reader for the measurement of the radiation dose from neutron and ionizing radiation is presented. The dose reader (kerma meter) is using as active element commercial PIN diodes with long base, which can provide a maximal ...

Low-Loss Narrowband Filtering Switch Based on Coaxial Resonators

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
In this paper, a narrowband filtering switch with low loss and high selectivity is presented based on coaxial resonators for the first time. PIN diodes mounted on the printed circuit boards are embedded into a coaxial filter to enable ON and OFF states ...

High Light Utilization and Color Rendering in Vacuum‐Deposited Semitransparent Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
In this work, low bandgap (≈1.55 eV) semitransparent perovskite solar cells (ST‐PSCs) having thin (thickness < ≈100 nm) perovskite layers and transparent conductive oxide‐based rear electrodes are fabricated using vacuum‐deposition methods. Two different ST‐PSCs demonstrated a high light utilization efficiency value of 4.2 (PCE: 9.26% and AVT: 45.3 ...

Photoluminescence and Photocurrent from InGaN/GaN Diodes with Quantum Wells of Different Widths and Polarities

open access: yesNanomaterials
We compare the optical properties of four pin diode samples differing by built-in field direction and width of the In0.17Ga0.83N quantum well in the active layer: two diodes with standard nip layer sequences and 2.6 and 15 nm well widths and two diodes ...

Role of the Recombination Zone in Organic Light‐Emitting Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This review summarizes the critical role of the recombination zone in organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs). We highlight that broadening the recombination zone in OLEDs based on emissive layers with balanced charge transport and high photoluminescence quantum yields provides a promising route toward achieving both long operational lifetime and high ...
