Canadian Journal of Forest Research, 1983The analysis of flavonoids in 132 samples (92 species, 9 genera) of pinales (Emberger sensu) has allowed the authors to justify autonomy of this group and to specify its internal structure. The absence of biflavones, the presence of C-glycoflavones, and the high concentration of prodelphinidin distinguish the pinales from the other conifers.
