Current Wild Population Status of Protected Mother‐Of‐Pearl Oyster Pinctada mazatlanica in Mexican Pacific Reefs

ABSTRACTThe mother‐of‐pearl oyster Pinctada mazatlanica (Hanley, 1856) obtained full protection from the Mexican government after the fishery collapse in 1939.
