Direct Ink Writing of 3D‐Structured All‐Carbon Electrodes with High Electrical Conductivity for (Vanadium) Redox Flow Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science
Redox flow batteries are attractive systems for large‐scale energy storage due to their capability to uncouple energy and power but still need to make several improvements to reach full commercial scale.

Production of Sustainable Adsorbents for CO2 Capture Applications from Food Biowastes

open access: yesEnergies
Traditional methods to develop biomass-based carbon adsorbents generally involve carbonization followed by chemical or physical activation. However, routes involving the hydrothermal treatment of biomass are receiving growing interest.

Tracing shocks and photodissociation in the Galactic center region

open access: yes, 2008
We present a systematic study of the HNCO, C18O, 13CS, and C34S emission towards 13 selected molecular clouds in the Galactic center region. The molecular emission in these positions are used as templates of the different physical and chemical processes ...

Long‐term clinical outcomes of periodontal regeneration of intrabony defects: A systematic review and meta‐analysis

open access: yesPeriodontology 2000, EarlyView.
Abstract This systematic review and meta‐analysis aimed to evaluate the long‐term clinical outcomes of regenerative procedures compared with access flap surgery for the treatment of intrabony defects, with a minimum follow‐up period of 5 years. A systematic review protocol following PRISMA guidelines was conducted.

Synthesis of Ni-Doped Graphene Aerogels for Electrochemical Applications

open access: yesGels
Carbonaceous materials used in most electrochemical applications require high specific surface area, adequate pore size distribution, and high electrical conductivity to ensure good interaction with the electrolyte and fast electron transport.

Spatial depth for data in metric spaces

open access: yesScandinavian Journal of Statistics, EarlyView.
Abstract We propose a novel measure of statistical depth, the metric spatial depth, for data residing in an arbitrary metric space. The measure assigns high (low) values for points located near (far away from) the bulk of the data distribution, allowing quantifying their centrality/outlyingness.

Terrestrial Analogs to Titan for Geophysical Research

open access: yesReviews of Geophysics, Volume 64, Issue 2, June 2026.
Abstract Saturn's moon Titan exhibits remarkable parallels to the Earth in many geophysical and geological processes not found elsewhere in the solar system at the present day. These include a nitrogen atmosphere with a condensible gas—methane—replacing the Earth's water, leading to an active meteorology with rainfall and surface manifestations ...

Hydrofluoric Acid-Free Synthesis of MIL-101(Cr)-SO3H

open access: yesCrystals
The conventional synthesis of the Metal–Organic Framework (MOF) MIL-101(Cr)-SO3H employs hydrofluoric acid as the modulator, posing handling challenges due to its irritating, corrosive, and toxic nature, as well as its reactivity with glass and metals ...

On the evolution of the molecular line profiles induced by the propagation of C-shock waves

open access: yes, 2009
We present the first results of the expected variations of the molecular line emission arising from material recently affected by C-shocks (shock precursors).

Developmental environment and age shape macronutrient allocation to eggs and ejaculates

open access: yesFunctional Ecology, Volume 40, Issue 4, Page 1033-1045, April 2026.
Read the free Plain Language Summary for this article on the Journal blog. Abstract Environmental conditions during development can have lasting effects on reproductive investment, but the sex‐ and age‐specific nature of such effects remains poorly understood.
