Yield prediction models for Pinus merkusii plantations in Indonesia
Ecological Modelling, 1987Abstract Two yield prediction models for Pinis merkusii plantations are developed and described in this paper. The first model is formulated as a system of two simultaneous equations involving basal area and yield as two endogenous variables. The system of equations is considered just-identified.

Natural regeneration dynamics of Pinus merkusii in northern Thailand
Forest Ecology and Management, 1995Abstract The effect of ground fire and subsequent exposure of mineral soil on germination and early development of Pinus merkusii Jungh. et de Vriese, and morphological development throughout the grass stage of naturally borne seedlings were studied in northern Thailand, within the natural distribution range of the species.

Development and characteristics of microsatellite markers in Pinus merkusii
Molecular Ecology Notes, 2005Abstract Pinus merkusii is an important industrial species that is distributed only in Southeast Asia. We isolated 10 microsatellite markers from this species using a dualâsuppressionâpolymerase chain reaction technique. Of these markers, five loci were codominant and polymorphic.

[Studies on the physiological behavior of Pinus merkusii Jungh. and Pinus massoniana Lamb].
Beitrage zur tropischen Landwirtschaft und Veterinarmedizin, 1976The formation and the function of the resin channels result from processes in the history of development; differences between various pine varieties must be traced to differentiation processes in the history of development. Longer flowing duration, higher reformation speed and reduced crystallization are properties which make Pinus merkusii especially ...
