سقز به‌دست‌آمده از درختان بنه (.atlantica  Desf  Pistacia) به‌دلیل  نقشی که از دیرباز در گذران زندگی و تأمین معیشت جنگل‌نشینان ناحیه زاگرس داشته از اهمیت اقتصادی- اجتماعی ویژه‌ای برخوردار است. هدف این پژوهش بررسی پیامدهای برداشت سقز بر درختان بنه بوده و رویش قطری این درختان به‌عنوان نمایه‌ای در این ارزیابی بکار گرفته شده است.
