Pituitary adenylate cyclase activating polypeptide expression in sensory neurons
Neuroscience, 1994Pituitary adenylate cyclase activating polypeptide (PACAP) is a novel vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP)-like peptide isolated from ovine hypothalami. The presence of PACAP-like immunoreactivity was recently demonstrated in nerve cell bodies of sensory ganglia in the rat.
