A DWT Ordering Scheme for Hiding Data in Images Using Pixel Value Difference
2012 Eighth International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Security, 2012A scheme is proposed to hide data in images based on a prioritised ordering of the content of the host image. The embedding process uses the watermark strength to determine the ordering of the 16 regions resulting from the second level wavelet transform DWT decomposed content of the host image.

Improved Pairwise Pixel-Value-Ordering for High-Fidelity Reversible Data Hiding
2018 25th IEEE International Conference on Image Processing (ICIP), 2018Pixel-value-ordering (PVO) appears as an efficient technique for high-fidelity reversible data hiding. This paper proposes a reversible data hiding scheme based on the pairwise PVO framework with improved difference equations. Both the pixel pair selection and the embedding algorithms are also streamlined.

A Data Hiding Method based on Multi-predictor and Pixel Value Ordering
2016Pixel Value Ordering (PVO) is a commonly-used method for reversible data hiding. PVO divides a cover image into non-overlapping blocks and the minimum and maximum values in a block are used to embed the secret data. The visual quality and embedding capacity of the PVO method is closely related to the size of the blocks.
