Deep Hierarchical Planning from Pixels [PDF]
Intelligent agents need to select long sequences of actions to solve complex tasks. While humans easily break down tasks into subgoals and reach them through millions of muscle commands, current artificial intelligence is limited to tasks with horizons ...

Where2Act: From Pixels to Actions for Articulated 3D Objects [PDF]
One of the fundamental goals of visual perception is to allow agents to meaningfully interact with their environment. In this paper, we take a step towards that long-term goal – we extract highly localized actionable information related to elementary ...

CLIPPO: Image-and-Language Understanding from Pixels Only [PDF]
Multimodal models are becoming increasingly effective, in part due to unified components, such as the Transformer architecture. However, multimodal models still often consist of many task- and modality-specific pieces and training procedures. For example,

Rethinking Style Transfer: From Pixels to Parameterized Brushstrokes [PDF]
There have been many successful implementations of neural style transfer in recent years. In most of these works, the stylization process is confined to the pixel domain.

Single pixel imaging at high pixel resolutions
The usually reported pixel resolution of single pixel imaging (SPI) varies between 32 × 32 and 256 × 256 pixels falling far below imaging standards with classical methods. Low resolution results from the trade-off between the acceptable compression ratio, the limited DMD modulation frequency, and reasonable reconstruction time, and has not improved ...

A Novel Dehazing Algorithm Based on Median Guide Filter for Traffic Video [PDF]
Aiming at the problem that the edge preserving effect of the existing improved bilateral filtering algorithm in the process of dealing with the haze weather traffic images is not ideal, and the algorithm is time consuming and computationally inefficient,

Depth discontinuities by pixel-to-pixel stereo [PDF]
An algorithm to detect depth discontinuities from a stereo pair of images is presented. The algorithm matches individual pixels in corresponding scanline pairs while allowing occluded pixels to remain unmatched, then propagates the information between scanlines by means of a fast postprocessor.
