MARK4 enhances stress granule formation under oxidative stress and increases tau accumulation
MARK4 (red dots) localizes to stress granules (orange dots) and promotes their formation under oxidative stress by modulating TIA1 (blue dots). MARK4 and TIA1 synergistically increase tau (purple) accumulation, and the reduction of the TIA1 ortholog suppresses neurodegeneration in a fly model.

Conformal Automorphisms of Plane Domains
Journal of the London Mathematical Society, 1985In this paper the author examines the group \(M(D)\) of Möbius automorphisms of a plane domain D. These are the holomorphic automorphisms of D which are restrictions of Möbius transformations. In general, \(M(D)\) is discrete. Discreteness occurs if D is at least triply connected, in a topological annulus which is not, up to conjugation, rotationally ...

Plane Fundamental Domains with Minimal Perimeters
Periodica Mathematica Hungarica, 2000The author continues and generalizes isoperimetric problems for extremal polygons with respect to a given lattice posed by \textit{Á. G. Horváth} [Period. Math. Hung. 34, 83--92 (1997; Zbl 0880.52012)]. The main result is the following theorem: There are 13 plane crystallographic groups, where the fundamental domain, having minimal perimeter, is unique.
