Clouds and Seasonality on Terrestrial Planets with Varying Rotation Rates
Using an idealized climate model incorporating seasonal forcing, we investigate the impact of rotation rate on the abundance of clouds on an Earth-like aquaplanet, and the resulting impacts upon albedo and seasonality. We show that the cloud distribution

A Modern Roman‐Inspired Concrete with Daytime Radiative Cooling Capacity
Coolcrete, inspired by ancient Roman concrete, is a new cementitious material with photonic properties enabling passive daytime radiative cooling. Made from quicklime and zeolites, it reduces cooling energy demand, lowers CO2 emissions, and may eliminate urban heat islands.

Rethinking Sustainable Batteries
This perspective examines sustainability across the entire battery lifecycle, from mining and manufacturing to use and end of life. Twelve principles for ‘green’ batteries are outlined, and it is argued that joint industrial, academic, and policy efforts are essential to building a truly sustainable energy future. Abstract Batteries will play a pivotal

Na3PS4‐type electrolytes are promising candidates for sodium solid‐state batteries. Especially Na3−xP1−xWxS4 has high ionic conductivity, promising high energy and power density. The impact of oxygen impurities during the synthesis of Na3PS4 and Na3−xP1−xWxS4 is highlighted and demonstrates how clean precursors improve tungsten incorporation and enable
