Conformal Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces: A Cylindrical Geometry Perspective

Cylindrical reconfigurable intelligent surfaces are explored for low‐complexity beam steering using one‐bit meta‐atoms. A multi‐level modeling approach, including optimization‐based synthesis, demonstrates that even minimal hardware can support directive scattering.

Influence of Top Electrode Metal on Resistive Switching in Multilayer MOCVD MoS2 Memristors

MoS2 memristors typically use evaporated noble metal electrodes. This study compares Pd, Ni, and Al electrodes and sputtered versus evaporated deposition. Pd is passive, while Ni damages MoS2, yielding poor switching. Breaking the Durability–Power Trade‐Off: Boron‐Directed Faceted O3 Cathodes for High‐Rate Sodium‐Ion Batteries

Boron‐oxide‐assisted particle engineering stabilizes O3‐type layered cathodes for sodium‐ion batteries by mitigating phase transitions and lattice strain. Acting as flux and structural modifier, boron forms submicron hexagonal platelets with (003) facets and expanded Na‐layer spacing, enabling rapid Na⁺ diffusion and mechanical resilience.

Decoupling Chemical and Mechanical Contributions to Capacity Fading in Ni‐Rich Cathodes for Sulfide‐Based All‐Solid‐State Batteries

Ni‐rich cathodes in sulfide‐based ASSBs undergo intertwined (electro)chemical and mechanical degradation. Here, a new diagnostic framework is presented to decouple each contribution by partitioning capacity fading into charge and discharge fading.
