Matrix Stiffness Directs Stemness Signatures in Breast Cancer

We built lab‐grown breast cancer models to study how the stiffness of the tumor's surroundings influences cancer behavior. Softer environments encouraged more stem‐like, drug‐resistant cells, while stiffer ones kept cells more differentiated. Self‐Cooling Molecular Spin Qudits

A material made of [GdEr] molecular dimers can encode a qudit and perform as a magnetic refrigerant. Microwave resonant pulses coherently manipulate its 16 spin states, while direct demagnetization measurements cool the material and a device down to temperatures below 1 K.
