Evaluating the Impact of Learning and Development on Staff Motivation in International Non‐Governmental and International Non‐Profit Organisations

open access: yesInternational Journal of Training and Development, Volume 30, Issue 1, Page 39-50, March 2026.
ABSTRACT The main objective of this study was to understand the impact of learning and development (L&D) on staff motivation in international non‐governmental organisations (INGOs) and international non‐profit organisations (INPOs), focusing on those organisations operating in the Global South, also known as developing countries.

Polystyrene/TiO2 Composite Thin Films by Powder Aerosol Deposition: Film Morphology Control Through Powder Processing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, Volume 13, Issue 3, 3 February 2026.
It's all in the mix! By employing different homogenization strategies for preparing polystyrene/TiO2 polymer‐ceramic composite (PCC) powders, we tune the morphology of PCC films obtained by powder aerosol deposition, ranging from segregated multilayer‐like to finely blended composites.

Light‐Induced Precipitation of an Inorganic Phosphate for Direct Writing of Thin Films and Templating Complex Mineral Morphologies

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, Volume 13, Issue 3, 3 February 2026.
Photoinduced patterning of inorganic materials promises advanced functionality, but often suffers from granular structures. Here, UV‐triggered dephosphorylation is used to guide the precipitation of barium phosphate with spatial control and structural continuity.

Giant Polar Displacements via Strain Relaxation in Itinerant Ferromagnet SrRuO3 Freestanding Films

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 8, 9 February 2026.
The discovery of substantial Ru off‐centre displacements exceeding 30 pm in SrRuO3 freestanding films is reported, achieved by properly controlling the strain relaxation process to engineer an expanded lattice. The work shows that tailored strain relaxation strategies can be used to design magnetic polar metals with desired electronic states in ...
