Diversity and Dispersal of Fungi Along a Subtropical Land‐to‐Sea Continuum
This study investigates the marine mycobiome by integrating cross‐habitat sampling with a long‐read amplicon sequencing approach. The results provide novel insights into the largely unexplored fungal diversity in coastal ecosystems and highlight the role of dispersal, evidenced by the detection of transported terrestrial fungal taxa.
