Earthworm Communities in Natural and Reforestation Areas of the Hyrcanian Forest; A Conservation Approach [PDF]
Introduction: The Caspian Hyrcanian forests are a habitat with ancient growth of temperate broadleaf trees that spread along the Alborz Mountain range's northern slopes and near the southern borders of the Caspian Sea.

Understanding preferences for tree attributes: the relative effects of socio-economic and local environmental factors [PDF]
Urban plant biodiversity is influenced by both the physical environment and attitudes and preferences of urban residents for specific plant types. Urban residents are assumed to be disconnected from their immediate environment, and cultural and societal ...

The relative contributions of forest growth and areal expansion to forest biomass carbon [PDF]
Forests play a leading role in regional and global terrestrial carbon (C) cycles. Changes in C sequestration within forests can be attributed to areal expansion (increase in forest area) and forest growth (increase in biomass density).

Leaftronics: Bio‐Fractal Scaffolds From Leaf Venation for Low‐Waste Electronics
“Leaftronics” transforms naturally evolved leaf venation into quasi‐fractal scaffolds for sustainable electronics. Polymer‐infiltrated leaf skeletons can be used to fabricate ultra‐smooth, reflow‐ and thin‐film‐compatible decomposable substrates, while making the same lignocellulose networks conducting results in flexible transparent electrodes.
