Wingtip Vortex Attenuation by Plasma Actuator
18th AIAA/3AF International Space Planes and Hypersonic Systems and Technologies Conference, 2012of attack to the approach flow were changed. SD’s frequency was changed within the range of 0)715 Hz (which was limited by the experimental setup parameters). The alternating sinusoidal voltage frequency of 50 kHz and amplitude of 3,5 kV was applied to DBD’s electrodes.

Multiprocessor Modeling of DBD Plasma Actuator
38th Fluid Dynamics Conference and Exhibit, 2008Based on the early developed single-processor numerical model for the dielectric barrier discharge simulation we have developed a multi-processor model. The time required for the DBD simulation is shown to be significantly less for the multiprocessor model than for the single-processor one. Based on the understanding of the physics of the DBD, operated

Supersonic Cavity Control Using Plasma Actuators
53rd AIAA Aerospace Sciences Meeting, 2015Cavity flows are present in a wide range of aerodynamic applications. A cavity could potentially be used in a scramjet isolator as a shock trap to increase the back-pressure margin of the inlet/isolator. In order to avoid a significant drag penalty while maintaining shock-trapping ability, fastresponse resonance suppression is required.

Effective Discharge Dynamics for Plasma Actuators
44th AIAA Aerospace Sciences Meeting and Exhibit, 2006Some effective control parameters for active separation mitigation using asymmetric dielectric barrier discharges is studied by considering the weakly ionized gas flow past a flat plate at angle of attack. A self- consistent plasma actuator model is employed to couple the electric force field to the momentum of the neutral gas.

Tip Clearance Control Using Plasma Actuators
43rd AIAA Aerospace Sciences Meeting and Exhibit, 2005Abstract : This report documents experimental results from a series of experiments using active flow control to improve the performance and efficiency of turbine tip clearance flows. The flow control was based on plasma actuators. Two experimental facilities were used as part of this research project.

Combustion stabilization using serpentine plasma actuators
Applied Physics Letters, 2011This letter presents a numerical model for combustion stabilization with plasma actuators. Recently, we demonstrated that serpentine actuators induce complex neighboring flow structures due to pinching and spreading effects suitable for rapid flow mixing.

Flow Structure Control Using Plasma Actuators
AIAA JournalIn the last few years, achieving precise control over flow structures has become increasingly crucial in aeronautics, space engineering, and wind turbine optimization. This study simulated the effects of dielectric barrier discharge on undisturbed air for flow structure control by means of plasma actuators.

Plasma Actuator for Hypersonic Flow Control
43rd AIAA Aerospace Sciences Meeting and Exhibit, 2005A summary of recent research progress in hypersonic plasma actuators for flow control is attempted. The most effective plasma actuator is derived from an electromagnetic perturbation to the growth rate of a shear layer and amplified by the strong viscous-inviscid interaction. Computational efforts that use a driftdiffusion and a simple phenomenological
