Salt Water Drops Slide Faster: Ionic Modulation of Drop Friction
Salt ions markedly accelerate water drops on conductive substrates coated with nanometer‐thin hydrophobic layers. Across diverse electrolytes and surfaces, higher ion concentration consistently lowers kinetic friction by reducing contact angle hysteresis.

This study proposes a synergistic strategy combining mild sintering of solid electrolyte pellets with lithium metal surface passivation, effectively suppressing dendrite growth, and enhancing interfacial stability. This approach doubles the critical current density of symmetric cells (1.1 to 2.2 mA cm−2) and extends full cells cycle life at 1 mA cm−2 ...

Bipolar Hydrogen Production from a Hybrid Alkaline‐Acidic Formaldehyde‐Proton Fuel Cell
A novel hybrid alkaline‐acidic formaldehyde‐proton fuel cell (FPFC) was developed by coupling alkaline formaldehyde oxidation reaction (FOR) with acidic hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). This design enables concurrent bipolar H2 production and electricity generation.
