Clinical Validation of Plasma p‐217tau in Neurological Diseases
ABSTRACT Objective Plasma p‐217tau is a minimally invasive but specific biomarker for diagnosing Alzheimer's disease (AD). However, its disease specificity remains to be clinically evaluated. We validated the reliability of the p‐217tau biomarker in 12 other neurological diseases.

Power Modulation System and Experiments of Lower Hybrid Wave on EAST
To satisfy various requirements of different physics experiments, a new power modulation method of the lower hybrid wave (LHW) has been developed in Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak (EAST), including the development of a control source ...

Edge localized modes (ELMs) are repetitive instabilities driven by the large pressure gradients and current densities in the edge of H-mode plasmas. Type-I ELMs lead to a fast collapse of the H-mode pedestal within several hundred microseconds to a few ...

Renormalization and plasma physics [PDF]
A review is given of modern theories of statistical dynamics as applied to problems in plasma physics. The derivation of consistent renormalized kinetic equations is discussed, first heuristically, later in terms of powerful functional techniques.

The Role of Calcitonin Gene‐Related Peptide in High‐Altitude Headache: A Prospective Field Study
ABSTRACT Objective High‐altitude headache (HAH) is a common neurological condition associated with rapid ascent to high altitude. The pathophysiological mechanisms underlying HAH remain incompletely understood. Calcitonin gene‐related peptide (CGRP), a neuropeptide implicated in migraine pathophysiology, may play a key role in the pathophysiology of ...

A structure-preserving spline finite element solver for the cold-plasma model [PDF]
We present a spline finite element solver, which preserves the Hamiltonian structure of the coldplasma model as well as several physical invariants, such as the energy, the total charge and the zero divergence of the magnetic field.

Predictive Ability of Plasma p‐tau217 for β‐Amyloid Status: A Prospective Multicenter Study
ABSTRACT Objective Plasma tau phosphorylated at threonine 217 (p‐tau217) measured with fully automated platforms has shown high accuracy for Alzheimer's disease (AD) diagnosis, but real‐world multicenter data remain limited. We aimed to validate the diagnostic performance of p‐tau217 for identifying AD pathology in a real‐world multicenter cohort ...

Controlling fast particles in tokamaks is crucial for both safe device operation and optimal plasma performance. We report the first observation, on EAST with a fully metallic wall, of a central ion temperature peaking (Ti-peak) regime reaching 9 keV ...
