Glycoproteomic Reactor for Human Plasma

Journal of Proteome Research, 2008
We describe the development of a glycoproteomic reactor that combines multiple biochemical and chemical protein processing into a single device for the study of N-glycosylated proteins. The glycoproteins are first enriched by concanavalin A affinity chromatography and then transferred onto and efficiently processed in the glycoproteomic reactor.

Plasma turbulent reactors

Annals of Physics, 1977
Abstract Similarity solutions are found for the evolution of the distribution functions of the radiation and relativistic electrons in a plasma turbulent reactor (PTR). These solutions have a “universal” power-law form which is shown to be analogous to the Kolmogorov spectrum for fluid turbulence and stable in the same sense.

Nonthermal plasma reactors and plasma chemistry

International Journal of Environment and Waste Management, 2008
The main goal of this paper is focused in reviewing the last 22 years of the use of nonthermal plasma reactors as alternative technologies for the treatment of residual fluid substances, regarding the destruction of hazardous compounds or the synthesis of other valuable compounds.

Transformer plasma generator as plasma-chemical reactor

High Temperature, 2010
An atmospheric-pressure transformer plasma generator with a power of up to 50 kW is developed and manufactured. The thermophysical and electrophysical characteristics are studied of a discharge of up to 20 kW at atmospheric pressure of an argon-hydrogen mixture and current frequency of 100 kHz.

Laser plasma CVD diamond reactor

Diamond and Related Materials, 2001
Abstract The results of multi-parametric investigations of laser plasmatron in application to CVD of diamond are presented. Different reaction chamber configurations were studied. CH 4 /H 2 /Xe(Ar) and CH 4 /CO 2 /H 2 /Ar gas mixtures at total pressure 1.0–4.5 atm were used. Both convection and directed gas flows with velocity up to 50 cm/s delivered

Plasma Reactors

The chapter explores the potential of plasma reactors as a sustainable solution for carbon dioxide (CO2) conversion. The diverse types of plasmas used in CO2 conversion are discussed. Mechanisms of plasma-based CO2 conversion are examined, with a specific focus on direct CO2 dissociation assisted by plasma, plasma-catalytic processes, and ...

Hybrid RF plasma reactor analysis

Proceedings. The 9th Russian-Korean International Symposium on Science and Technology, 2005. KORUS 2005., 2006
RF plasma technology now is widely used in electronics industry. In depending on the area of application the plasma technological systems (RF power supplies, reactor designs, using physical processes) may differ significantly. However, with designing the any of them, there are some common requirements.
