Clozapine: Plasma levels and prolactin response
Psychopharmacology, 1981Serial plasma clozapine levels and serum prolactin levels were determined in two schizophrenic patients receiving clozapine, a novel antipsychotic drug. Despite marked therapeutic response and substantial clozapine blood levels, prolactin levels obtained 11--12 h after the last oral dose were unaffected or only minimally elevated.

Protriptyline plasma levels and antidepressant response
Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics, 1977Twenty‐one depressed outpatients were treated for 4 wk with 20 mg Iday of protriptyline. Protriptyline plasma levels in individuals after 4 wk ranged from 22 nglml to 167 nglml. There was a negative correlation (‐0.50, p < 0.05) between the severity of depression measured by the Hamilton Rating Scale (HRS) and the wk 4 protriptyline concentration ...

Dynamic plasma response in laser-photodetachment experiments in hydrogen plasmas
Physical Review E, 1994The theory of the dynamic plasma response in laser-photodetachment experiments in low pressure hydrogen plasmas is extended to include the effects of the self-consistent electric field. The H[sup [minus]] rich plasma is modeled via a hybrid fluid-kinetic approach in which the electrons and positive ions are described by the fluid theory, while the ...

Response Tensors for Magnetized Plasmas
2012The generalization of the covariant classical kinetic theory of plasma responses from an unmagnetized to a magnetized plasma involves a considerable increase in algebraic complexity. As in the unmagnetized case, two different methods of calculation are available and both are useful: the forward-scattering and Vlasov methods.
