Opacity calculation for target physics using the ABAKO/RAPCAL code
Radiative properties of hot dense plasmas remain a subject of current interest since they play an important role in inertial confinement fusion (ICF) research, as well as in studies on stellar physics.

Anisotropic viscous dissipation in transient reconnecting plasmas
Aims. We examine the global energy losses associated with reconnecting coronal plasmas. Methods. Using planar magnetic reconnection simulations we compute resistive and bulk viscous losses in transient coronal plasmas.

Doppler Broadening of Spectral Line Shapes in Relativistic Plasmas
In this work, we report some relativistic effects on the spectral line broadening. In particular, we give a new Doppler broadening in extra hot plasmas that takes into account the possible high velocity of the emitters.

ONDAS DE ALFVÉN DE GRAN AMPLITUD EN PLASMAS PARCIALMENTE IONIZADOS
In this paper it is analyzed the propagation of large amplitude Alfvén waves in partially ionized plasmas (PIP) when electronic pressure, Hall and ambipolar terms of Ohm’s law are taken into account.

ABSTRACT Background Children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) are at risk of severe outcomes from SARS‐CoV‐2 (SCV2). In the post‐pandemic context, where most children have been infected with SCV2, there are limited data on whether vaccination remains beneficial in children with ALL.

Clustering of ions at atomic dimensions in quantum plasmas
By means of particle simulations of the equations of motion for ions interacting among themselves under the influence of newly discovered Shukla–Eliasson attractive force (SEAF) in a dense quantum plasma, we demonstrate that the SEAF can bring ions ...

On the Fractional Diffusion-Advection Equation for Fluids and Plasmas
The problem of studying anomalous superdiffusive transport by means of fractional transport equations is considered. We concentrate on the case when an advection flow is present (since this corresponds to many actual plasma configurations), as well as on

Plasma optics improving plasma accelerators
AbstractPlasma accelerators driven by high-power lasers can provide high-energy electron beams on a dramatically smaller scale than conventional radio-frequency accelerators. However, the performance of these accelerators is fundamentally limited by the diffraction of the laser.

ABSTRACT Background Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) is a relapsing autoimmune disease of the central nervous system. High‐dose intravenous methylprednisolone (IVMP) is the standard first‐line therapy for acute attacks, although some patients remain refractory.
