Functional Nanostructured Plasmonic Materials
Advanced Materials, 2010AbstractPlasmonic crystals fabricated with precisely controlled arrays of subwavelength metal nanostructures provide a promising platform for sensing and imaging of surface binding events with micrometer spatial resolution over large areas. Soft nanoimprint lithography provides a robust, cost‐effective method for producing highly uniform plasmonic ...

Electrochemical Crystallization of Plasmonic Nanostructures
Nano Letters, 2011We show how gold recrystallizes when under the influence of electrochemical potentials. This "cold annealing" occurs without charge transfer reactions and preserves nanoscale structural features. By performing the process on plasmonic nanostructures, grain growth is monitored noninvasively by optical spectroscopy.

Exciton-Plasmon-Photon Conversion in Plasmonic Nanostructures
Physical Review Letters, 2007A silver-nanowire cavity is functionalized with CdSe nanocrystals and optimized towards cavity quantum electrodynamics by varying the nanocrystal-nanowire distance d and cavity length L. From the modulation of the nanocrystal emission by the cavity modes a plasmon group velocity of v (gr) approximately 0.5c is derived.

Nonlinear Plasmonics in Nanostructured Phosphorene
ACS Nano, 2023Phosphorene has emerged as an atomically thin platform for optoelectronics and nanophotonics due to its excellent optical properties and the possibility of actively tuning light-matter interactions through electrical doping. While phosphorene is a two-dimensional semiconductor, plasmon resonances characterized by pronounced anisotropy and strong ...
