MEMS plasmonic switch with stripe plasmonic waveguide
2017 22nd Microoptics Conference (MOC), 2017We designed the new plasmonic switch that combines a stripe plasmonic waveguide and MEMS. On-off extinction ratio and mechanical modulation resonance frequency was numerically estimated to be 10 dB and 70 kHz, respectively. We confirmed the displacement of moving part depending on applied voltage.

Single Nanoparticle Couplers for Plasmonic Waveguides
Small, 2014A single nanoparticle antenna, can be used as an efficient coupler for plasmonic nanowire waveguides. The coup-ling of light into the surface plasmon polaritons on a nanowire can be suppressed or enhanced depending on the surface plasmon resonances of the nanoantenna. The coupler is compacted and can be simply controlled using focus ion beam.
