Plastik film sebagai pengemas makanan asinan jahe untuk ekspor

open access: yesMajalah Kulit, Karet, dan Plastik, 1996
One of the plastic material which is usually used for packaging is polyethylene. That plastic has a good performance for plasticity, chemicals resistence, flexibility and no toxic subtances, therefore, this is suitable for good packaging.

Hijacking emergency granulopoiesis: Neutrophil ontogeny and reprogramming in cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Neutrophils are highly plastic innate immune cells; their functions in cancer extend beyond the tumour microenvironment. This Review summarises current understanding of neutrophil maturation and heterogeneity and highlights tumour‐induced granulopoiesis as a systemic programme that expands immature, immunosuppressive neutrophils via tumour‐derived ...

Adaptor protein CIN85 potentiates the motility of osteosarcoma cells via the Akt/mTOR and MMP2‐COL3A1 axis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CIN85 is highly expressed in osteosarcoma, particularly in metastatic lesions. Its overexpression increases cell migration and Matrigel invasion, while silencing CIN85 suppresses these behaviors. Transcriptome analysis shows that CIN85 regulates MMP2, COL3A1, and Akt/mTOR signaling. Targeting these pathways reverses CIN85‐induced motility, highlighting

Evolution of the physical properties of soils containing microplastics under high stress conditions

open access: yesCase Studies in Thermal Engineering
Microplastics (MPs) in soil significantly impact human health and ecosystems, making it critical to understand their physical properties. These properties can also be altered by varying depths of geostress.

Correlation Between Destructive And None-Destructive Tests on the Mechanical Properties of Different Cement Mortar Mixtures Incorporated Polyethylene Terephthalate Fibers.

open access: yesSulaimani Journal for Engineering Sciences, 2017
Non-destructive tests have been widely used in engineering purposes especially in civil engineering. Yet it is not properly used to predict the mechanical properties of different cement mortar mixtures reinforced with plastic fibers (PET) made from waste

Metastasis on pause: How dormant tumor cells stay hidden within the tumor microenvironment and evade immune surveillance

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dormant cancer cells can hide in distant organs for years, evading treatment and the immune system. This review highlights how signals from the surrounding tissue and immune environment keep these cells inactive or trigger their reawakening. Understanding these mechanisms may help develop therapies to eliminate or control dormant cells and prevent ...

Developmental programmes drive cellular plasticity, disease progression and therapy resistance in lung adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

Patient therapy outcome modeling in cancer organoids is improved by cancer‐associated fibroblasts and organoid assembly convolution

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Patient‐derived organoids (PDOs) from pancreatic, colorectal, and gastric cancers were used to evaluate standard and experimental therapies. Incorporating cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) into organoid cultures improved patient therapy outcome prediction.
