Two C-methyl-C-prenyldihydrochalcones from Platanus acerifolia

Phytochemistry, 1989
Abstract Two novel dihydrochalcones were isolated from the buds of Platanus acerifolia . Separations were made by centrifugal TLC and HPLC and structure elucidation was achieved by UV, 1 H, 13 C NMR and MS spectra. The two related components are characterized by both C -methylation and C -prenylation.

Isolation and Characterization in vitro of an Allergen from Plane-Tree (Platanus acerifolia) Pollen

International Archives of Allergy and Applied Immunology, 2009
A plane-tree pollen allergen was obtained by ion exchange and gel filtration chromatography. It is a glycoprotein with a molecular weight of 22,000. By isoelectro-focusing, two isomers with a high cross-allergenicity were obtained. The results suggest that this fraction is not the only allergen but certainly the most active.

AINTEGUMENTA-LIKE genes regulate reproductive growth and bud dormancy in Platanus acerifolia

Plant Cell Reports
Platanus acerifolia AIL genes PaAIL5a/b and PaAIL6b participate in FT-AP1/FUL-AIL pathways to regulate bud dormancy. In addition, PaAIL6a/b can promote flowering, and PaAIL5b and PaAIL6b affect floral development. Bud dormancy and floral induction are essential processes for perennial plants, they are both regulated by photoperiod, temperature, and ...
