Nucleoside‐Modified mRNA Encoding Alpha‐Galactosidase A Ameliorates Fabry Disease Phenotypes in Human IPSC‐Derived Cardiomyocytes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Human iPSC‐derived Fabry cardiomyocytes exhibited broad transcriptional dysregulation, apoptosis, mitochondrial dysfunction, impaired reactive oxygen species handling, altered contractility, and abnormal calcium transient decay, potentially mediated by phospholamban hyperphosphorylation.

Convergence of Plasmid‐Mediated tmexCD‐toprJ With Critical Resistance Genes Fuels Spread of Multidrug Resistant Bacteria

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Global dissemination of tmexCD‐toprJ across bacterial hosts and ecological niches is accompanied by its convergence with blaKPC, blaNDM, and mcr on mobile plasmids. Recombination and acquisition of resistance modules generate distinct multidrug resistant plasmid architectures, facilitating the emergence and spread of high‐risk bacterial populations ...

Klotho‐Derived Peptide 1 Protects against Acute Kidney Injury by Directly Targeting Mitochondrial ATAD3A

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study uncovers that KP1, a Klotho‐derived peptide, protects the kidney against acute kidney injury, a clinical syndrome with high morbidity and mortality. KP1 enters tubular epithelial cells via endocytosis, directly interacts with the mitochondrial ATAD3A/HIGD2A complex, thereby preventing cytochrome c release, and caspases activation, and ...

From Magnetic Fibers to Paper Architectures: A Lightweight Strategy for Robust Low‐Frequency Microwave Absorption

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A scalable process converts para‐aramid fibers into soft‐magnetic building blocks via micrometer‐thick Fe0.64Ni0.36 (Invar‐type) coatings. Assembled into paper, they form a hierarchical conductive network whose tunable permeability enables thin, lightweight microwave absorption in the low‐frequency (S‐band) regime.

From Sensing Mechanisms to System Co‐Design: Graphene‐Based Sensors and Readout Circuits

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This review establishes a unified PS–EQ–RF framework linking graphene sensing mechanisms, native electrical outputs, and output‐specific readout circuits. Voltage‐, current‐, resistance‐, and capacitance‐type sensing systems are systematically classified to guide architecture selection, low‐noise design, system co‐design, and practical integration ...
