Platelet aggregometry assays are generally used for the analysis of platelet function but can also be adapted for further research and therapy focused applications.

New plans orthogonal through the block factor [PDF]
In the present paper we construct plans orthogonal through the block factor (POTBs). We describe procedures for adding blocks as well as factors to an initial plan and thus generate a bigger plan. Using these procedures we construct POTBs for symmetrical experiments with factors having three or more levels.

Generation of specific antibodies against the rap1A, rap1B and rap2 small GTP-binding proteins. Analysis of rap and ras proteins in membranes from mammalian cells [PDF]
Specific antibodies against rap1A and rap1B small GTP-binding proteins were generated by immunization of rabbits with peptides derived from the C-terminus of the processed proteins.

Intercalation of a series of FeSe1−xSx host crystals with tetramethylammonium cations (TMA+) linearly scales the critical temperature Tc from 43 K down to 28 K with increasing sulfur incorporation. The chemical pressure induced by the partial substitution shows a weakening of the superconducting properties in both hosts and intercalates in a remarkably

Deep Factorization for Speech Signal [PDF]
Speech signals are complex intermingling of various informative factors, and this information blending makes decoding any of the individual factors extremely difficult. A natural idea is to factorize each speech frame into independent factors, though it turns out to be even more difficult than decoding each individual factor.

Potentiation of thrombus instability: a contributory mechanism to the effectiveness of antithrombotic medications [PDF]
© The Author(s) 2018The stability of an arterial thrombus, determined by its structure and ability to resist endogenous fibrinolysis, is a major determinant of the extent of infarction that results from coronary or cerebrovascular thrombosis.

Electric Pulse Regulated MXene Based Nanozymes for Integrative Bioelectricity Immuno‐Cancer Therapy
MXenzyme‐mediated bioelectricity cancer therapy (MXenzyme‐BECT) enhances cancer cell death through irreversible depolarization, ion channel disruption, ROS generation, and immunogenic cell death. Computational simulations reveal the electrical mechanisms by which MXenzyme acts on single cells and support to predict treatment parameters. Next‐generation

Human plasma platelet-activating factor acetylhydrolase (PAF-AH) is an enzyme associated mainly with the apolipoprotein B (apoB)-containing lipoproteins and primarily with LDL. A small proportion of enzymatic activity is also associated with HDL.

Invariance properties of thematic factorizations of matrix functions [PDF]
We study the problem of invariance of indices of thematic factorizations. Such factorizations were introduced in [PY1] for studying superoptimal approximation by bounded analytic matrix functions. As shown in [PY1], the indices may depend on the choice of a thematic factorization. We introduce the notion of a monotone thematic factorization.

Bi‐directionally assembled BN µ‐platelets in micropatterns formed by a micro‐molding method for thermal interface materials are demonstrated. The BN µ‐platelets are vertically aligned selectively, while compressed regions without patterns accommodate horizontally assembled BN µ‐platelets. Through anisotropic orientation, high thermal conductivities for
