PEAR1 Promotes Glucose Metabolism Reprogramming in Sepsis‐Associated Acute Lung Injury via AARS1‐Mediated HIF‐1α Lactylation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study revealed that a PEAR1/HIF‐1α/ glycolysis/lactate/H3K18la positive feedback loop in PMVECs that drives the development of S‐ALI. Mechanistically, PEAR1 mediates the binding of HIF‐1α to AARS1, leading to the lactylation of HIF‐1α, the primary lactylation site of which is K172.

A Programmable Calcification Nanoplatform for Loco‐Regional Calcification‐Immune Hepatocellular Carcinoma Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An in situ‐grown BP‐CaO2 nanoplatform supplies coordinated Ca2+, endogenous phosphate, and oxidative stress to convert tumor calcification from a passive endpoint into an active immune‐remodeling process. Widespread hydroxyapatite deposition is visualized by CT, while multi‐omics reveals MCOLN2 as a calcium‐responsive mediator linking biomineralization

Rewiring Pyroptosis to Potentiate Cancer Immunotherapy via a Gasdermin D Agonist Bypassing Caspase‐3

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work introduces a small‐molecule agonist, DIBDO, that bypasses Casp‐3 to directly trigger GSDMD‐mediated pyroptosis in tumors. Activated by glutathione, DIBDO generates singlet oxygen and molecular iodine, blocking Casp‐3 pathways and inducing immunogenic cell death.

Harmonizing Rigidity and Flexibility: Embedding COF Quantum Dots Into Extracellular Matrix Gel as Carbon Monoxide Depot for Acoustically Triggered Time‐Programmable Anti‐Infective Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A rigid‑flexible integrated CO depot is engineered by embedding rigid COFQDs into a flexible ECM gel network. The rigid framework enables high‑capacity CO storage and sonodynamic bacterial killing, while the flexible ECM gel controls sustained CO release, collectively eradicating multidrug‑resistant infection and promoting scarless healing.

Metal Battery Anode: Rich in Electrons, Rich in Problems: A Critical Review from Industrial Perspectives

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Metal‐anode batteries using Li, Na, Mg, and Ca offer exceptionally high energy density, but dendrites, unstable interphases, cracking, and pore formation hinder durability and safety. This review shows how careful electrolyte and interphase design can stabilize these reactive metals.

MgP4/CNT‐Graphene Embedded in Hard Carbon Matrix as a High‐Capacity Anode for Next‐Generation Sodium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Phosphorus‐rich MgP4 is introduced as a high capacity anode for sodium‐ion batteries (SIBs) via hybrid carbon matrix engineering. A sequential CNT/G assembly forms a conductive and mechanically robust network, delivering a high reversible capacity of 1386 mAh g−1 while stabilizing alloying reactions.

Kinetic Parameters of Platelet Aggregation as an Expression of Platelet Responsiveness

Thrombosis and Haemostasis, 1977
SummaryThe kinetics of platelet aggregation induced by collagen and by ADP were studied. The maximum aggregation (ΔLTmax) and the ADP and collagen concentrations required to produce half-maximum aggregation (Kd) were determined using platelets obtained from normal individuals, individuals who ingested aspirin and individuals whose platelet-rich plasma (

Determination of Critical Parameters in Platelet Margination

Annals of Biomedical Engineering, 2012
An investigation of margination dependence on hematocrit, platelet shape, and viscosity ratio of plasma to cytoplasm is presented. Whole blood is modeled as a suspension of deformable red blood cells (RBCs) and rigid platelets in a viscous liquid. The fluid phase is simulated using the lattice-Boltzmann method, the RBC membranes are modeled with a ...

Expression of platelet parameters and platelet membrane glycoproteins in childhood Burkitt lymphoma

Leukemia Research, 2019
Platelet activation and functional changes in some haematological malignancies have been investigated with little or no known documentation on Burkitt lymphoma (BL). Abnormalities of platelets contribute to either haemorrhage or thrombotic episodes which are life-threatening in patients with BL.
