Platelet to Lymphocyte Ratio and Neutrophil to Lymphocyte Ratio in Missed Abortion [PDF]
Objective Missed abortion occurs in ~ 15% of all clinical pregnancies. The pathogenesis is not clearly known. However, defective placentation resulting in maternal systemic inflammatory response is considered responsible for missed abortion.

Neutrophil-to-Lymphocyte Ratio, Platelet-to-Lymphocyte Ratio and Heart Failure
Dear Editor, the recent report on “Neutrophil-to-Lymphocyte Ratio (NLR), Platelet-to-Lymphocyte Ratio (PLR) and Heart Failure” is very interesting.1 Durmus et al.1 reported that “NLR can be used to predict mortality during the follow-up of HF patients.” Indeed, the use of a new parameter for predicting heart failure is very interesting.

Selected hematology ratios in cats with non-septic effusions highly suspected of feline infectious peritonitis [PDF]
In veterinary medicine, knowledge about hematologic ratios (neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) and mean platelet volume-to-platelet ratio (MPV/PLT)) is limited, particularly in cats. While the roles of these

Red Cell Distribution Width and Platelet Indices in Women with Pre-eclampsia: A Cross-sectional Study [PDF]
Introduction: To determine the prognosis and fetomaternal outcome in eclampsia and pre-eclampsia, a simple and costeffective approach is to assess the Red cell Distribution Width (RDW) and platelet count.

Neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio, platelet-to- lymphocyte ratio and mean platelet volume in lupus nephritis [PDF]
Background: A number of blood count parameters are associated with inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. There is discordant evidence whether neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), platelet-to- lymphocyte ratio (PLR) and mean platelet volume (MPV) might reflect inflammatory response and have prognostic value in SLE patients.

Introduction The mean platelet volume to lymphocyte ratio (MPVLR) and platelet distribution width to lymphocyte ratio (PDWLR) have the potential to serve as markers of inflammation which may indicate disease activity.
