Thermodynamic controls on the formation and stability of platinum-group minerals
The investigation, by SEM/EDS, of chromite ores from Skyros island, which are characterized by elevated platinum-group element (PGE) content, showed that apart from laurite (RuS2) occurring as small inclusions within unaltered chromite grains, Ru-Ir-Os- minerals were found within silicate matrix as interstitial between chromite grains.

Green swans and blue skies: Climate change and insolvency risk for financial institutions
Abstract This lecture in honour of the late Gabriel Moss QC and Ian Fletcher QC examines the challenge of climate‐related financial risk. Prudential regulators and central banks recognize that the systemic nature of climate‐related financial risk makes it an emerging vulnerability relevant to cross‐border insolvency resolution.

ABSTRACT Toxicological assessment is essential in NP approval for health and medical applications. Although 2D cell culture has been widely used, 3D models, especially spheroids, provide better predictive value for toxicological risk assessments since they replicate complex cellular interactions more accurately.

ABSTRACT Background: Soil quality can be measured through soil quality indicators that reflect soil processes. Aim: The aim of this study was to (1) identify a limited set of soil quality indicators that are most sensitive to agricultural soil management and that are widely applicable regardless of pedo‐climatic conditions, and (2) link common ...
