MacLeay (Coleoptera: Carabidae, Platynini): redescription and relationships
Journal of Natural History, 1998 The use of the generic name Colpodes MacLeay, 1825, is reviewed, along with characteristics previously attributed to the genus by various authors of Carabidae. The single known specimen of the type species, Rembus (Colpodes) brunneus MacLeay, is designated as lectotype, redescribed and figured.

Agricultural and Forest Entomology, Volume 23, Issue 4, Page 400-410, November 2021., 2021 Short‐rotation coppices shift carabid communities towards forest species assemblages, while decreasing species numbers and abundances of open habitat species. This leads to a decline in gamma diversity. We identified shrub cover and temperature as main environmental drivers for changes in species numbers, abundances and rarefied richness.

Phylogeny and biogeography of the Laurasian genus Agonum Bonelli (Coleoptera, Carabidae, Platynini)
Deutsche Entomologische Zeitschrift, 2004 The World fauna of Agonum Bonelli, 1810 was analyzed by cladistic parsimony implementing Nixon's ratchet, based on 135 terminals representing 131 species, and 138 unit-coded characters, including 98 external morphological characters, 21 characters of the female reproductive tract and ovipositor, and 19 male genitalic characters.
