Multi‐Force‐Driven Self‐Recoverable SWIR Mechanoluminescence for Underwater Communication
This study represents the first demonstration of self‐recoverable mechanoluminescent (ML) within a single material across diverse mechanical modes, enabled by the synergistic coupling of piezoelectric and triboelectric effects. Through a combinatorial doping approach, the MgNb2O6 crystal exhibits breakthrough short‐wavelength infrared ML performance ...

Background: The association between childhood trauma (CT) and psychotic-like experiences (PLEs) is well-established. Many previous studies have recognized wisdom as a protective factor for mental health, but its role in the relation between CT and PLEs ...

Unlocking fruit dimensions: Quantification of functional traits driving plant–frugivore interactions
Abstract Fleshy fruits attract animals to ingest fruit, swallow the seeds, and release them in the landscape, thus facilitating seed dispersal and plant regeneration. Attraction of animal dispersers is achieved via attractants such as color or scent, and rewards like sugars, lipids, and micronutrients.

The MUPPLE competence continuum [PDF]
The idea of Personal Learning Environments (PLEs) seems to polarise the educational sphere into supporters and opponents. Both groups relate their enthusiasm or criticism to underlying competences motivated by or needed for building up, running, and ...

Abstract The green iguana (Iguana iguana) is an iguanine lizard with herbivorous and arboreal habits, whose distribution spans through South America, Central America to the south of North America. Although the genus Iguana is well‐known, the species still lacks a comprehensive and up‐to‐date anatomical study, particularly addressing the axial skeleton,

Magnetic fields of cool giant and supergiant stars: models versus observations [PDF]
The recent years have brought great advances in our knowledge of magnetic fields in cool giant and supergiant stars. For example, starspots have been directly imaged on the surface of an active giant star using optical interferometry, and magnetic fields

Distinct Ligand‐ and Metal‐Centered Phosphorescence in a Terbium Carbazolyl Complex
Terbium and lanthanum carbazolide complexes show two distinct modes of luminescence: Strongly temperature‐dependent narrow‐line terbium emission could be induced. In addition, both the terbium and the lanthanum complexes show broad‐line interligand emission processes with excited states of microsecond life‐time.
