A Rationally Engineered Spleen‐Tropic One‐Component Lipid‐mRNA Complex (OncoLRC) for Cancer Vaccines

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
OncoLRC, a one‐component lipid‐mRNA complex, enables efficient spleen‐targeted delivery at an exceptionally low lipid‐to‐mRNA mass ratio (1.5:1), robustly activates immune responses, inhibits tumor growth, and synergizes with checkpoint blockade, presenting a next‐generation platform for mRNA vaccines.

Development of the choroid plexus and blood-CSF barrier

open access: yesFrontiers in Neuroscience, 2015
Well-known as one of the main sources of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), the choroid plexuses have been, and still remain, a relatively understudied tissue in neuroscience.

Ultrasound‐Boosted Liposomal Prodrug Overcomes Age‐Associated Biodistribution Disparity in Pediatric Solid Tumor Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The age‐associated disparity of nanocarrier biodistribution limits the nanotherapeutics of childhood solid tumors. This study developed an ultrasound‐activated liposomal prodrug (CSCPTL) to overcome the age‐associated disparity of off‐target distribution.

Choroid plexus papilloma

open access: yesAsian Journal of Neurosurgery, 2017
Choroid plexus tumors are rare intracranial tumors which account for only 0.4-0.6% of all brain tumors. These are intraventricular papillary neoplasms derived from choroid plexus epithelium and range from choroid plexus papillomas (World Health Organisation (WHO) grade I) to choroid plexus carcinomas (WHO grade III).

Fermented Lacticaseibacillus Paracasei Cultures Ameliorate Colitis by Modulating Microbiota‐Derived Tryptophan Metabolism and Macrophage Polarization

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A solid‐state fermented probiotic (PYW) is developed using wheat bran as substrate, containing high viable Lacticaseibacillus paracasei and bioactive metabolites. PYW alleviates intestinal inflammation by gut microbiota composition, enriching indole derivatives, activating aryl hydrocarbon receptor signaling, and regulating macrophage polarization. PYW

Functional and Genetic Analysis of Choroid Plexus Development in Zebrafish

open access: yesFrontiers in Neuroscience, 2014
The choroid plexus, an epithelial-based structure localized in the brain ventricle, is the major component of the blood-cerebrospinal fluid barrier. The choroid plexus produces the cerebrospinal fluid and regulates the components of the cerebrospinal ...
