MET and NF2 alterations confer primary and early resistance to first‐line alectinib treatment in ALK‐positive non‐small‐cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Alectinib resistance in ALK+ NSCLC depends on treatment sequence and EML4‐ALK variants. Variant 1 exhibited off‐target resistance after first‐line treatment, while variant 3 and later lines favored on‐target mutations. Early resistance involved off‐target alterations, like MET and NF2, while on‐target mutations emerged with prolonged therapy.

Seismogram Rearrangement as a Perspective Basis for Defining New Attributes

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2023
Proper regulative in earthquake risk reduction, hazard assessment, earthquake resistant design and construction of structures, should be under perpetual improvement. They are mainly the result of earthquake study and analysis of post-seismic effects.

An Intuitive Graphical Approach to Understanding the Split-Plot Experiment [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Statistics Education, 2009
While split-plot designs have received considerable attention in the literature over the past decade, there seems to be a general lack of intuitive understanding of the error structure of these des...

Chemoresistome mapping in individual breast cancer patients unravels diversity in dynamic transcriptional adaptation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study used longitudinal transcriptomics and gene‐pattern classification to uncover patient‐specific mechanisms of chemotherapy resistance in breast cancer. Findings reveal preexisting drug‐tolerant states in primary tumors and diverse gene rewiring patterns across patients, converging on a few dysregulated functional modules. Despite receiving the

ggsignif: R Package for Displaying Significance Brackets for 'ggplot2'

open access: yes, 2021
Research hypotheses are often concerned with the difference between two groups and statistical tests provide indicators (like p-values or Bayes factors) about the evidence for or against such differences.

Evaluation of KRAS and NRAS mutations in metastatic colorectal cancer: an 8‐year study of 10 754 patients in Turkey

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This nationwide study evaluated KRAS and NRAS mutations in 10 754 Turkish patients with metastatic colorectal cancer. The results revealed a mutation frequency of 51.1%, with 46.6% having KRAS mutations, 4.5% having NRAS mutations, and 48.5% being wild‐type for both.

A Log-Ratio Biplot Approach for Exploring Genetic Relatedness Based on Identity by State

open access: yesFrontiers in Genetics, 2019
The detection of cryptic relatedness in large population-based cohorts is of great importance in genome research. The usual approach for detecting closely related individuals is to plot allele sharing statistics, based on identity-by-state or identity-by-
