scRNA‐Seq reveals anti‐lymphoma immune responses in mogamulizumab‐associated skin eruptions

open access: yesJournal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, EarlyView.
CCR4 was expressed in malignant clones and regulatory T cells in untreated CTCL, that were decreased in MAR. Malignant clones in MAR showed a silenced phenotype with decreases in central memory markers SELL and CCR7, and GTP‐binding member GIMAP7 and upregulation of MMP2 inhibitor TIMP2 and tumour suppressor gene RUNX3.

Isolated in the highlands, found in the museum: A new species of Characidium (Crenuchidae) from a Bolivian National Park, with a CT scan revealing features

open access: yesJournal of Fish Biology, EarlyView.
Abstract A new species of Characidium is described from a small, isolated river in the highland areas of Noel Kempff Mercado National Park, Bolivia. The new taxon can be diagnosed by the presence of a relatively broad and conspicuous dark midlateral stripe extending from the tip of snout to the base of the caudal fin, markedly darker than the vertical ...

Forecasting Climate Change Using a Multivariate Cointegrated System

open access: yesOxford Bulletin of Economics and Statistics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT A cointegrated vector equilibrium correction model of key climate variables including sea surface temperature, ocean heat content, Arctic sea‐ice extent and sea‐level change is built, driven by radiative forcing in which a stochastic trend arises due to anthropogenic emissions of greenhouse gases.

The Lateral Alignment Angle: A Novel Method for Evaluating Lateral Patellar Tilt With High Accuracy, Good Reproducibility, and Independence From Patellofemoral Joint Morphology

open access: yesOrthopaedic Surgery, EarlyView.
The angle formed between the measurement line P1P2 and the line T1T2 was designated as the Lateral Alignment Angle (LAA). This angle is used to evaluate the lateral patellar tilt. The LAA is a stable, accurate measurement that minimizes morphological influence on patellofemoral joint assessment.

Representativeness and Mode Effects in the Swiss Election Study (Selects): Are Paper Surveys Still Relevant?

open access: yesSwiss Political Science Review, EarlyView.
Abstract Web‐based surveys have gained popularity due to their cost‐effectiveness and changing participation habits, a trend accelerated by the COVID‐19 pandemic. This raises questions about the continued value of paper‐based surveys in mixed‐mode studies like the Swiss Election Study (Selects), which uses a push‐to‐web design, offering a paper ...

Can the Neutrophil/Lymphocyte*Platelet Ratio Predict Acute Appendicitis? An Analytical Study

open access: yesNamık Kemal Tıp Dergisi
Aim: Our primary aim is to determine whether the neutrophil/lymphocyte*platelet ratio (NLPR) has the ability to predict acute appendicitis. Our secondary aim is to show whether the NLPR is effective in differentiating complicated and non-complicated ...
