CDO-Net: A Distributional Optimization Network for Confidence Maps in Building Segmentation

open access: yesIEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing
The geometric precision of building segmentation is frequently bottlenecked not by the feature extraction capabilities of models, but by the crude postprocessing step of binarizing their uncertain confidence map outputs.

Multiscale Coupling From Mastication to Retronasal Aroma Perception: The PG‐DTCFN Model and Multiphysics Simulation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Using grilled lamb skewers as a model system, this work builds a multiscale coupling framework from oral processing to retronasal aroma perception, reveals dual‐kinetic release patterns and Electroencephalogram‐characterized central encoding features, and proposes an interpretable physics‐guided deep learning model validated by multiphysics simulation,

Efficient Polarization‐Entangled Photon‐Pair Generation by a Fiber‐In‐Line van der Waals Material

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Telecom‐wavelength polarization‐entangled photon pairs are generated in a van der Waals‐material‐integrated all‐fiber device via spontaneous parametric down‐conversion. The demonstrated fiberized quantum light source bridges emerging 2D nonlinear materials and practical quantum photonic systems, opening new opportunities for scalable fiber‐based ...

Genetic Ablation and Multi‐Omics Profiling Reveal CEP55 as a Key Driver of Tumorigenesis in Diverse Cancer Models

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Genetic ablation of Cep55 in Pten‐deficient mouse models delays tumorigenesis. Integrated multi‐omics analyses (proteomics, phosphoproteomics, and spatial transcriptomics) reveal that CEP55 regulates oncogenic signaling (RAS/ERK, PI3K/AKT), integrin/FAK‐mediated adhesion, extracellular matrix (ECM) remodeling, and endocytosis.

Redirecting Monocyte Differentiation With Engineered Extracellular Vesicles for Glioma Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A dual‐targeting engineered extracellular vesicles (M1‐CS‐EVs) platform is developed to redirect monocytes differentiation into anti‐tumor macrophages for glioma immunotherapy. This nanoplatform combines CAR‐mediated tumor recognition with localized CD47 blockade, leading to synergistic immune activation and potent suppression of tumor progression in ...

TDiff: Thermal Plug-And-Play Prior with Patch-Based Diffusion

open access: yesProceedings of the 2025 ACM International Workshop on Thermal Sensing and Computing
Thermal images from low-cost cameras often suffer from low resolution, fixed pattern noise, and other localized degradations. Available datasets for thermal imaging are also limited in both size and diversity. To address these challenges, we propose a patch-based diffusion framework (TDiff) that leverages the local nature of these distortions by ...

Diffusion models as plug-and-play priors

open access: yes, 2023
We consider the problem of inferring high-dimensional data $\mathbf{x}$ in a model that consists of a prior $p(\mathbf{x})$ and an auxiliary differentiable constraint $c(\mathbf{x},\mathbf{y})$ on $x$ given some additional information $\mathbf{y}$.

A Robotic Testing Platform for Pipelined Discovery of Resilient Dielectric Elastomer Actuators

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work introduces a robotic testing platform enabling high‐throughput, multi‐parameter lifetime mapping of linear dielectric elastomer actuators (DEAs). By integrating programmable high‐voltage control and automated electromechanical measurements, the system identifies material and operating conditions that double actuator lifetime.
