Recent advances in carbon‐based anodes for alkali metal‐ion batteries are critically reviewed, with emphasis on biphenylene and other emerging carbon allotropes. Biphenylene exhibits exceptional theoretical electrochemical properties beyond conventional graphite, highlighting its strong potential as a next‐generation anode material once scalable ...

Creativity and its link to epilepsy
Abstract Creative thinking represents one of our highest‐order cognitive processes, involving multiple cortical structures and an intricate interplay between several cortical and subcortical networks. It results in novel ideas that translate to useful products or concepts. The evolutionary purpose of creativity is therefore apparent, as it advances our

Abstract Efforts to use transcriptomics for toxicity testing have classically relied on the assumption that chemicals consistently produce characteristic transcriptomic signatures that are reflective of their mechanism of action. However, the degree to which transcriptomic responses are conserved across different test methodologies has seldom been ...

Advanced flexible brain computer interface materials: From development to application
This review explores how novel materials coatings are advancing brain‐computer interface (BCI) technology. It describes how these materials help overcome key challenges in signal accuracy, biocompatibility, and device durability. The paper highlights BCI applications in medicine and entertainment, and discusses future trends that could transform human ...

ABSTRACT Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) remains one of the deadliest cancers due to its asymptomatic progression, late‐stage diagnosis, and treatment resistance. Efforts in early detection have centered on identifying imaging features and liquid biopsy biomarkers capable of detecting PDAC and its high‐grade precursors before clinical symptoms ...

Fiscal Policy Regimes in Resource‐Rich Economies
ABSTRACT We analyse fiscal policy in resource‐rich economies using a novel Bayesian regime‐switching panel model. The identified regimes capture pro‐ or countercyclical fiscal behaviour by allowing regime‐specific shifts in the average fiscal stance, while the switches between the regimes have the interpretation of changes in fiscal policy.

ABSTRACT Diisononyl phthalate (DINP) is a high molecular weight phthalate and high production volume chemical. DINP's carcinogenic potential has been investigated in four rodent bioassays, with liver tumors observed in three of the studies. Authoritative assessments have hypothesized that DINP acts through the peroxisome proliferator‐activated receptor

PMS HAHAcronym: Perpetuating Male Superiority
PMS HAHAcronym: Perpetuating Male Superiority is not a rant. Rather, it describes PMS, the acronym for premenstrual syndrome, including its historical treatment and development in the medical and psychological establishments, and considers PMS in various
