Optimal Software Patching Plan for PMUs [PDF]
Phasor measurement units (PMUs) deployed to monitor the state of an electrical grid need to be patched from time to time to prevent attacks that exploit vulnerabilities in the software. Applying some of these patches requires a PMU reboot, which takes the PMU offline for some time.

A self‐powered vibration sensing platform integrates a quasi‐zero‐stiffness piezoelectric harvester, synchronized electric charge extraction, energy management, and wireless ADC acquisition. Ambient vibration is simultaneously harvested as energy and digitized as information, enabling sustained real‐time waveform monitoring without external power.

A Regularized Tensor Completion Approach for PMU Data Recovery
This article presents a novel data recovery framework for missing synchrophasor measurements. The imputation accuracy for the existing data recovery methods is significantly reduced when there are consecutive data losses across multiple data streams ...

RRAM Variability Harvesting for CIM‐Integrated TRNG
This work demonstrates a compute‐in‐memory‐compatible true random number generator that harvests intrinsic cycle‐to‐cycle variability from a 1T1R RRAM array. Parallel entropy extraction enables high‐throughput bit generation without dedicated circuits. This approach achieves NIST‐compliant randomness and low per‐bit energy, offering a scalable hardware

Through the introduction of a niobium oxide layer into a hafnia ferroelectric capacitor stack, we build a memory device with a strong imprint effect. This imprint leads to a millisecond retention loss that can be tuned by the programming conditions that can be utilized as a scalable, analog hardware time constant for bio‐inspired temporal computing ...
