Altered resting-state functional connectivity of insula in children with primary nocturnal enuresis
ObjectivePrimary nocturnal enuresis (PNE) is a common developmental condition in school-aged children. The objective is to better understand the pathophysiology of PNE by using insula-centered resting-state functional connectivity (rsFC).MethodsWe ...

Chemical abundances in Galactic planetary nebulae with Spitzer spectra [PDF]
We present new low-resolution (R~800) optical spectra of 22 Galactic PNe with Spitzer spectra. These data are combined with recent optical spectroscopic data available in the literature to construct representative samples of compact (and presumably young)

Expansion velocities of selected PNe [PDF]
AbstractIn order to clarify the observed relation between the expansion velocity measured from lines of different ions and their ionization potential, we present kinematical data for several objects. We have measured radial velocities on ESO UVES high dispersion spectra to compare expansion velocities for a set of planetary nebulae.

PNe Abundances: Galactic Bulge versus the Disc [PDF]
We compare the abundances of He, N, O, Ar, S, and Ne, determined in a similar way, for a sample of Galactic bulge and disc planetary nebulae (PNe). We find that in all aspects — average abundances and dispersion, distribution functions, abundance relationships, and the ratio of N/O — the bulge and disc PNe are indistinguishable.

Investigating the Near-Infrared Properties of Planetary Nebula II. Medium Resolution Spectra
We present medium-resolution (R~700) near-infrared (lambda = 1 - 2.5 micron) spectra of a sample of planetary nebulae (PNe). A narrow slit was used which sampled discrete locations within the nebulae; observations were obtained at one or more positions ...

Abundances of planetary nebulae in the Galactic bulge [PDF]
Context. Planetary nebulae (PNe) abundances are poorly known for those nebulae in the Galactic bulge. This is because of the high and uneven extinction in the bulge which makes visual spectral measurements difficult.

Prevalence and Quality of Life of Slovenian Children with Primary Nocturnal Enuresis
Aim. To get epidemiologic data about primary nocturnal enuresis (PNE) and its influence on the quality of life of Slovenian children and adolescents and to find out the knowledge about the disorder among school population. Methods.

Heat stress significantly undermines the poultry industry by escalating rates of morbidity and mortality and impairing growth performance. Our recent findings indicate that Prinsepiae Nux extract (PNE) effectively stimulates the Nrf2 signaling pathway, a
