The role of blinatumomab in adult acute B lymphoblastic leukaemia
Blinatumomab, a CD19‐directed bispecific T‐cell engager, has become a crucial part of BCP‐ALL therapy in r/r disease, MRD‐positive disease and has recently been implemented into first‐line therapy of BCP‐ALL. This review discusses important clinical trials with a focus on blinatumomab in first‐line therapy of adult BCP‐ALL.

Pneumocystis pneumonia in a treatment-naive rheumatoid arthritis patient
A HIV-negative, newly diagnosed patient with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) was found to have pneumocystis jiroveci pneumonia. The infection was treated with three weeks of atovaquone and corticosteroids.

Out of 274 lung transplant (LTx) patients, 89 (32%) developed invasive aspergillosis IA. Factors associated with IA were mycophenolate mofetil use, airway stenosis, Aspergillus cultured pre‐LTx, chronic lung allograft dysfunction (CLAD), and acute rejection. Bacteremia in Pediatric Solid Organ Transplant Recipients within 1 Year of Transplant
We retrospectively reviewed bloodstream infections (BSI) in pediatric recipients of solid organ transplants over a 14‐year period. Overall BSI rates were significant but decreased over time. Risk factors for BSI were identified which may help identify interventions which further decrease rates.
