Ovicidal activity of Pochonia chlamydosporia and Paecilomyces lilacinus on Toxocara canis eggs

open access: yesVeterinary Parasitology, 2010
An assessment was made of the ovicidal activity of egg-parasitizing fungi Pochonia chlamydosporia (isolates VC1 and VC4) and Paecilomyces lilacinus on Toxocara canis eggs in vitro. The fungal isolates were inoculated onto Petri dishes with 2% water-agar (2% WA) and stored at 25 degrees C for 10 days in an incubator, in the dark.

Bionematicides in sugarcane planting [PDF]

open access: yes
Biological nematicides have become the predominant treatment of sugarcane fields infested by nematodes, although there are few studies evaluating the effects of these products on this crop. In this context, the objective of this work was to evaluate the

Indigenous Bio-Control Agents against Root-Knot Nematodes and Fungal Pathogens in Bundelkhand Soils [PDF]

open access: yes
Soil-borne pests and pathogens, particularly root-knot nematodes (Meloidogyne spp.) and phytopathogenic fungi, are major constraints to crop productivity in the semi-arid Bundelkhand region of India.

Pochonia chlamydosporia Cepa CCB-LE506

open access: yes, 2014

Biology and Management of Pochonia chlamydosporia and Plant-Parasitic Nematodes

open access: yes, 2017
The nematophagous fungus Pochonia chlamydosporia (Clavicipitaceae) is a facultative parasite of major plant-parasitic nematodes pests such as cyst (Globodera spp., Heterodera spp.), root-knot (Meloidogyne spp.), false root-knot (Nacobbus spp.) and reniform (Rotylenchulus reniformis) nematodes. The potential of P.
