This is the first prospective population‐based study to assess the relationship between the prevalence of POD and preoperative NLR levels. This study proposes that elevated preoperative NLR levels are a risk factor for POD, and elevated P‐tau and T‐tau are also associated with the development of POD.

Summary Mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) is a rare peripheral B‐cell lymphoma characterised by eventual relapse and progression towards a more aggressive disease biology. With the introduction of rituximab‐ and cytarabine‐based immunochemotherapy regimens, the prognosis of the disease has changed dramatically over the last two decades.

Abstract The design of economically feasible and profitable production processes has driven companies toward integrated continuous manufacturing by reducing working volumes and increasing operating frequencies. Thus, the development of robust small‐scale devices capable of multivariate process optimization is essential.

POD‐based analysis of a wind turbine wake under the influence of tower and nacelle
Abstract The wake produced by a model wind turbine is investigated using proper orthogonal decomposition (POD) of numerical data obtained by large eddy simulations at a diameter‐based Reynolds number . The blades are modeled employing the actuator line method and an immersed boundary method is used to simulate tower and nacelle.

POD analysis of oscillating grid turbulence in water and shear thinning polymer solution
Abstract Oscillating grids are frequently used with water and Newtonian fluids to generate controlled turbulence and mixing. Yet, their use with shear thinning fluids still requires experimental characterization. Proper orthogonal decomposition (POD) is applied to PIV measurements of the flow generated by an oscillating grid in water and a shear ...
