Ergasilid copepods (Poecilostomatoida) from the gills of primitive Mugilidae (grey mullets)
Systematic Parasitology, 1999All representatives of the subfamily Agonostominae of grey mullets in the collections of The Natural History Museum in London were examined for parasitic copepods. Agonostomus monticola, Joturus pichardi, Aldrichetta forsteri and Cestraeus goldiei were all infected by copepods. Three new species of Acusicola and two new species of Ergasilus were found:

A new species of Taeniastrotos Cressey (Copepoda: Poecilostomatoida) from southern Brazil
Systematic Parasitology, 1997A new species of Taeniastrotos is described from an ariid host, Cathrops spixii, caught in southern Brazil. It is the first member of the genus to be recorded from the Atlantic Ocean and can be distinguished from its four known congeners by the setation of the terminal endopodal segment of the fourth leg.
