Casting graph isomorphism as a point set registration problem using a simplex embedding and sampling
Graph isomorphism is an important problem as its worst-case time complexity is not yet fully understood. In this study, we try to draw parallels between a related optimization problem called point set registration. A graph can be represented as a point set in enough dimensions using a simplex embedding and sampling. Given two graphs, the isomorphism of

Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

Planar embedding of trees on point sets without the general position assumption
Summary: The problem of point-set embedding of a planar graph \(G\) on a point set \(P\) in the plane is defined as finding a straight-line planar drawing of \(G\) such that the nodes of \(G\) are mapped one to one on the points of \(P\). Previous works in this area mostly assume that the points of \(P\) are in general position, i.e.

Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Somatic mutational landscape in von Hippel–Lindau familial hemangioblastoma
The causes of central nervous system (CNS) hemangioblastoma in Von Hippel–Lindau (vHL) disease are unclear. We used Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) on familial hemangioblastoma to investigate events that underlie tumor development. Our findings suggest that VHL loss creates a permissive environment for tumor formation, while additional alterations ...

Targeted therapy was evaluated in SHH medulloblastoma using neuroepithelial stem cell (NES) and tumor‐derived NES‐like (tNES) models in 2D monolayers and 3D spheroids. PI3K, AKT, and CDK4/6 inhibitors had minimal effects in NES but markedly reduced viability and growth and induced apoptosis in tNES cells, revealing distinct therapeutic vulnerabilities.

Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Interval price prediction of livestock product based on fuzzy mathematics and improved LSTM.
Livestock product prices serve as a barometer and bellwether for the agricultural market. However, traditional point prediction techniques focus mainly on tracking or fitting, resulting in limited information and challenges in evaluating the uncertainty ...
