Point-Spread Function retrieval for fluorescence microscopy [PDF]
In this paper we propose a method for retrieving the Point-Spread Function (PSF) of an imaging system given the observed images of fluoroscentmicrospheres. Theoretically calculated PSFs often lack the experimental or microscope specific signatureswhile empirically obtained data are either over sized or (and) too noisy.

Spectrally-resolved point-spread-function engineering using a complex medium
Propagation of an ultrashort pulse of light through strongly scattering media generates an intricate spatio-spectral speckle that can be described by means of the multi-spectral transmission matrix (MSTM).

Blurred Image Restoration with Unknown Point Spread Function
Blurring image caused by a number of factors such as de focus, motion, and limited sensor resolution. Most of existing blind deconvolution research concentrates at recovering a single blurring kernel for the entire image.

Point Spread Function Measurement Based on Single-Pixel Imaging
Point spread function (PSF) plays an important role in evaluating the quality of optical systems and imaging restoration. Conventional methods, which use a point-like source, acquire the PSF from the perspective of object points and suffer the problem of

Study the Field of View Influence on the Monchromatic and Polychromatic Image Quality of a Human Eye
In this paper, the effect of the eye field of view (known as F.O.V.) on the performance and quality of the image of the human eye is studied, analyzed, and presented in detail.

Acquisition geometry analysis with point‐spread functions [PDF]
ABSTRACTSeismic data are traditionally acquired based on spatial sampling requirements, noise properties and budgetary constraints. However, designing a survey without taking into account the complexity of the subsurface may result in an image without the expected quality.

Data-calibrated point spread function prediction
Context. Precise knowledge of the point spread function (PSF) underpins many data analysis steps in astronomy, from photometry and astrometry to source de-blending and deconvolution.

Accurate subpixel shifting of point spread functions
The localization of emitters requires accurate subpixel shifting of point spread function (PSF) models. However, the PSF recorded by the camera is not the true PSF of the system due to integration across finite pixels. These errors can be propagated during the shifting process, causing systematic biases in the registration or ...

Investigation of a new modulated aperture using speckle techniques
Background A design of equally spaced eight-circles placed at equal distances from the origin is suggested. Three models corresponding to the eight-circle design considering conic, linear, and quadratic distributions are investigated. This arrangement is

PSFr: Point Spread Function reconstruction
PSFr empirically reconstructs an oversampled version of the point spread function (PSF) from astronomical imaging observations. The code provides a light-weighted API of a refined version of an algorithm originally implemented in lenstronomy (ascl:1804 ...
